So, here’s another picture that speaks much more than a
thousand words about us.
The above photo was taken by Alice Lase Yhoshü near the
Congress Bhavan in Kohima on Monday afternoon (March 21). She says the garbage is
piling up right on the side of the road leading to several high profile offices
like the Deputy Commissioner’s office, State Information Commission’s office,
and, wait for it, the Kohima Municipal Council’s office.
Check out the photo again. The public notice says – ‘Do not
throw waste here. Keep Kohima Clean’. And guess who put the notice up? Answer:
Kohima Municipal Council.
No words necessary, the image tells the story of the sorry
